4 Reasons Why You Should not use namecheap shared hosting - Fastburg 1.png
Never ever use namecheap shared hosting before reading this article. Here are 4 main reasons about why you should never use hosting from Namecheap, & Particularly Namecheap.

1. SLOW SERVERS

Their hosting is so slow and has the worst TTFB. Yes sometimes they perform good but not most of the time. If you use tools like uptimerobot you will mostly see there's very bad response time/loading speed throughout the day.

2. Longer Down-times & Unresponsiveness.

They often have their servers down and gave reason of an unscheduled maintenance. Yeah they do give reasons like this. They have pretty bold claim of 99.99% uptime. All lie!

Often your site becomes so slow it takes ages to load, even with no good reasons. My low traffic sites where I have above 95% pagespeed score struggle to load sometimes with 0 traffic.

3. BAD FOR SEO

If you want your site to be rank well on search, never ever use namecheap hosting. No matter how good the deal is. Namecheap is the worst for SEO.

Slow sites or websites that goes unresponsive quite a lot (like namecheap) is really a bad signal for search engines, especially when they crawl.

4. BAD TECH SUPPORT (CHAT/TICKET)

Other than the issues mentioned above, I often have hosting related issues which I have to talk to support representative in their chat system for a whole day.

They are so slow to work, they even take 5-10 minutes straight just to verify your username and support pin.

They are not so much skilled in their work, they will ask you the stupidest questions or give the stupidest answer possible. And they mostly try to ignore any moderately difficult server issues and ask us to call web developer to fix issues on our site.

So something goes wrong, you are on your own!

Conclusion

Think 1000's times before going for the namecheap hosting. Their low tier stellar to top tier stellar business hosting, all are same. Just pricing is different, no matter what specs u see, it doesn't matter. If you can not utilise it right?

Again their support will keep you on the waitlist and make you feel hopeless. Absolutely not worth of your money and time. They are good for domain names, but not for hosting!

STAY AWAY FROM NAMECHEAP HOSTING.

I see another post about namecheap on this forum, I don't know if this is relevant or not but it can give you some idea.
